Free licensed early access
Try SequenceBoard with your shop’s work.

We are starting with 5–10 interested job shops. Feedback is welcome as the product develops.

From download to your first schedule
- Request your free license. Email support@sequenceboard.com with your name and email address. We manually send a publisher-signed
.sblicensefile. There is no automatic account or instant activation service, and response times are not guaranteed. - Download and install. Use the Windows MSI above. It installs for your Windows account and includes the runtime. This preview is not digitally signed; Windows or your organization’s policy may block it. Contact support if blocked, and follow your organization’s software policy.
- Import the license. Launch SequenceBoard from Start, choose Choose license file, and select your
.sblicensefile. Keep a separate copy for reinstalling. Activation works offline. - Try a schedule. Explore demo data, create a blank workspace, or import your own CSV files or an Excel workbook. Review the CSV import preview and check the resulting records. Schedule your tasks and navigate to their dates if they fall outside the visible timeline.
- Save and reopen. Save a
.bschedfile, close SequenceBoard, reopen it and check your assignments. Keep dated backups in a separate location, especially before imports or significant edits.
Pilot scope and support
What is available
Visual resource lanes, work packages and tasks, manual and automatic scheduling, CSV import/export, Excel workbook import, local save/reopen, and demo data.
The installed 0.1.1 Windows 11 Pro audit imported 46 synthetic rows without warnings, scheduled all 9 tasks, and retained assignments after closing and reopening. Windows 10 and a separate clean installation have not been independently tested for this pilot.
Best-effort email support
Email support@sequenceboard.com for help or feedback. We’ll respond as availability allows. Response and resolution times aren’t guaranteed.
Current limits and backups
- Single-user local files; no cloud sync, shared database coordination or multi-user locking.
- No live ERP/MRP or machine-data integrations, official orders, inventory or BOM system.
- Scheduling uses heuristics rather than a global optimization solver.
- Matching import IDs can update records; omitted rows are not automatically deleted. Preview does not replace a backup.
- Workspace versions are not automatic; in-session undo history ends when the app closes.
- Schedule CSV is for review. Use Tasks CSV when setup fields are needed for re-import.
Your data and license
Schedules stay in your local workspace. This build sends no schedule data and collects no usage telemetry. The license contains your name, email, license ID, plan and issue date, recorded in a private manual issuance registry. Requesting a license does not enroll you in marketing.
This invitation baseline does not verify email ownership or provide online accounts, enforced device seats, automatic renewal or remote revocation. License files can be copied; licensing identifies registered participants. The source remains MIT licensed.
