# Welcome to SequenceBoard SequenceBoard is free during early access. We are looking for job shops that want to try the software, share feedback, and help shape its growth. ## Install and activate 1. Open the SequenceBoard MSI installer. It installs for your Windows account and includes the .NET runtime. 2. Open SequenceBoard from the Start menu. 3. Choose the `.sblicense` file provided with your invitation. To request a free license, email your name and email address to support@sequenceboard.com. Issuance is manual and response times are not guaranteed. 4. Create a blank workspace or explore demo data, then enter or import your own work. 5. Save your schedule as a `.bsched` file and keep backup copies somewhere separate. Before importing into an existing workspace, save a dated backup copy. Review the import preview and check the resulting records before saving over your working file. Matching IDs may update records; omitted rows are not automatically deleted. If the board looks empty after scheduling or reopening, navigate to the dates of your scheduled tasks. Work can fall outside the visible timeline range. Your early-access license has no 30-day trial cutoff. No payment or card is required. Future paid offerings will be communicated separately. The license records your name, email, and license ID so we can identify registered participants. This build does not send your schedule files or collect usage telemetry. Your license activates offline; keep a copy for reinstalling. Uninstalling the application does not remove your saved workspaces or license. This release is for 64-bit Windows 10/11 and local, single-user use. Cloud sync and live ERP integrations are outside this release. This preview installer is not digitally signed yet. Use only the installer supplied by the publisher; contact your inviter if Windows or your organization's security policy blocks it. During early access, email support@sequenceboard.com for help or feedback. We'll respond as availability allows. Response and resolution times aren't guaranteed.
