I love simulating work.
Whether it is a job shop, a multi-line manufacturing process, or a larger planning problem that stretches from sales orders to shipping labels, purchase orders to warehouse activity, I enjoy modeling how work flows through a system.
Advanced planning and scheduling systems can pull together scattered enterprise data and give the whole operation a much-needed conductor.
That is what I am building with SequenceBoard: a scheduling system that can start simple, but still grow into difficult real-world planning and scheduling problems.
I plan to post small development updates here as I build, test, improve, and learn in public.
